DigitalOcean data center locations

 Hi guys,

Today I am here to speak about locations of DigitalOcean data centers around the world. Needless to say, DigitalOcean is one of the very popular cloud web services provider. There are plenty of cloud services in DigitalOcean that you can use for your website and other stuffs. But did you know that they have number of data centers around the world. You will be quite amused to know that they can data centers in regions like:

  • Asia: India, Singapore
  • Europe: Germany, Netherlands, UK
  • North America: Canada, US


 

And within those regions too, it has multiple cities in some of those countries. It amazing to know that DigitalOcean owns so many of the data centers. So, if you are a client of DigitalOcean from, lets say Germany, it makes much sense buy your web hosting or cloud space in Germany.

There are plenty of services that Digital Ocean provides in these data centers which can includes, but not limited to, virtual hosting, managed databases, object and block storage, load balancing, etc. I am pretty sure, for hosting your websites too, these cloud services are useful. The main advantage is that you can scale your virtual hosting space as the traffic increases. Jut pay for what you use. That's it.
